About this Workshop
Cyber Defence Campus (armasuisse S&T) conducts various projects, in collaboration with Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, in the domain of AI. Acting as a hub between the DDPS , Industry and Research Institutions its main goal facilitating the collaboration, knowledge and talent transfer between those parties. The goal of this workshop is to showcase the most prominent research results related to the AI and Cyber Defence.

Dr. Raphael Meier
Scientific Project Manager

Raphael Meier is a Scientific Project Manager at armasuisse S+T and the Cyber-Defence Campus. In his role, Raphael conducts scientific research at the intersection of machine learning and cyber influence activities. Furthermore, he supports clients from the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) in projects involving data science and cyber defence. Raphael Meier has a background in biomedical engineering and informatics. He holds a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (2013) and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (2017) from the University of Bern, where he specialized in machine learning for the analysis of medical imaging data.
Dr. Ljiljana Dolamic
Scientific Project Manager

Ljiljana Dolamic is a Scientific Project Manager at armasuisse S&T, Cyber Defence Campus. Hers research interests are in Computational Linguistics, Multilingual and Cross lingual Information Retrieval, Machine Translation and Language Modelling. After finalising PhD at the University of Neuchâtel, Ljiljana worked as NLP expert at Health on the Net, developing public health domain specific search engine. She than collaborated on the corpus linguistics project “SERMO” at UniNE to finally join the CYD in 2019.
