- Deadline:
- 25 November 2026
- Notification:
- 10 January 2027
Call for Papers
We invite submissions of original research papers on all aspects of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and accepted papers will be presented at AI Days 2027.
Submission Guidelines
Format Requirements
- Submissions must be in PDF format.
- If your paper has appendices, submit the appendix together with the main body and the references as a single file. Reviewers will not look for appendices as a separate PDF file.
- Total file size may not exceed 10MB.
Page Limits
All page limits exclude references and appendices. The space for the latter is not limited in pages.
- Long papers: 8 pages (+ 1 extra page for final version to respond to reviews)
- Short papers: 4 pages (+ 1 extra page for final version to respond to reviews)
- Industry track papers: 4 pages (+ 1 extra page for final version). Title must start with "Industry Track:"
- Brief announcements: 2 pages. Original texts sharing insights from findings published in other peer-reviewed conferences, in a language relevant to Swiss AI Days attendees. Brief announcements are not anonymized.
Formatting Guidelines
- Do not include author information or acknowledgments in your initial submission.
- Place figure captions under the figure (omit titles from inside the graphic file). Place table captions over the table.
- Do not alter the style template; do not compress the paper format by reducing vertical spaces.
- Keep your abstract brief and self-contained, one paragraph and roughly 4-6 sentences.
- The title should have content words capitalized.
- If your paper claims a significant contribution with code artifacts, upload anonymized code to an anonymous git repository or anonymous.4open.science and link to it from within the paper.
AI Usage
Submissions must represent original scholarly work conceived, conducted, and written by their human authors. Papers generated wholly or substantially by generative AI—including their arguments, analyses, results, or conclusions—are prohibited and will be rejected. Generative AI tools may not be named as authors. Limited assistance with language, formatting, or coding does not transfer responsibility: the authors remain fully accountable for the submission’s originality, accuracy, citations, and compliance with conference policies.
Every submission must include an AI Use Statement describing whether and how generative AI tools were used in the research or preparation of the manuscript, identifying the tools and the tasks for which they were used. If no such tools were used, the statement must read: “The authors declare that no generative AI tools were used in conducting the research or preparing this manuscript.” Materially false or incomplete disclosure constitutes a breach of research integrity and may result in rejection or withdrawal of an accepted paper.
Sponsorship
Unfortunately, as a small local conference we cannot offer travel grants or sponsorships this edition.
